Dear Educators,

I’m delighted to welcome both new and returning schools to FutureReadyNYC. I deeply appreciate your leadership; it is vital to our shared success. Together, we are redefining what education can be for our students — making it more meaningful, relevant, and connected to real-world opportunity.

Today’s world demands that we go beyond the traditional goals of education, to ensure our students are prepared for a dynamic economic landscape. Our commitment must now ensure every student leaves our schools both academically prepared and with the skills, experiences, and sense of purpose they need to build a life filled with possibility.

FutureReadyNYC realizes this vision by integrating career-connected instruction, personalized advising, early college credit and credentials, work experience, and financial literacy education. We believe these experiences are most impactful when they’re woven together with care and intention—and when they reflect the unique strengths of each school community.

In three years, FutureReadyNYC expanded to 135 schools and over 15,000 students. This year, we welcome 50 new schools! Our early progress is encouraging; FutureReadyNYC schools have statistically significant higher rates of attendance and higher GPAs, despite having higher than average economic need when compared to other schools across the city. 

As we expand, we know scale must be matched with quality. That’s why this playbook exists, to support you with guidance that helps bring FutureReadyNYC to life in your school community—so every student is on a path to financial security and a meaningful future.
